  100% pure rip off merchants.. read there terms and conditions.. they are the most ridiculous of all. I got a call 4 days after our stay with all these allegations and extra fees we should pay.. read the other reviews. There is no doubt in our minds.. These guys are out to screw you after your stay. Instead of apologising for the washining machine, microwave and hot water service not working and having to buy new ones on our arrival and compensating for the inconvenience they try to slap extra fees for the cleaner that wasn't our doing.the phone call filled with blame caused a heated discussion and we feel these accusations were empty and a pure act to create more fees out of thin air..we will never holiday with Dodd and page port Elliot/ Middleton again and we highly recommend you consider it also or be prepared to do strange things which are outlined in their terms and conditions.. I have a lot of words I can use but I have said enough.. Don't trust this business. They are not worth dealing with.. learn from other people's experiences. I wish I had read these reviews before we chose to rent with Dodd and page port Elliot

  This real estate company completely ruined our holidays. We arrived to a pre-paid, pre-booked holiday house and the passcode to enter did not work. Telephoned them to sort it out and we could not get any response at all. The time was about 6pm at night and we had no-where to stay and no way to get into the house! We ended up paying for completely substandard cabin accommodation in a local caravan park and expected a refund from Dodd and Rage but instead, they refused outright and then the next day demanded we pay for a weekend call-out to open the property!!

  They lie, cheat and scam their way into your wallets. 2% credit card fees but they won't accept cash, fees to issue a cheque to return the departure guarantee and they lied about mess in the house and tried to keep our guarantee. We had to threaten them with Fair Trade and lawyers to get 90% of our money back and lost the $40 booking fee. How they keep their license is beyond us, a completely horrible debacle. Do not use this company do not even ask them for directions, they'll demand cash payment up front.
