  The Port Elliot Bakery is always, always busy. It can be a bit of a bunfight (pardon the pun) to get in and get served (whatever you do don't jump the queue!!).

  Usually have been her good in the past. Last couple times I have been there though the pies have been very soggy and one totally fell apart on me and looked like it had just been microwaved. Assuming this is just a couple of bad ones because usually very good. Staff are very good at managing he usual large crowds so no complaints on service. Overall, still better than most bakeries in SA

  Always packed no matter what time of year! The staff are well trained to cope with busy times and always try to serve you as quickly and professionally as possible. There is such a selection of both sweet and savory that it takes forever to decide.

  A good range of products made in-house. The bakers must work in shifts to be able to provide enough food to last all day.

  As the title says - order a PIE from the dozen or so on offer (decisions decisions) and a Vanilla Slice (heaven), walk down to the beach and ENJOY (if you can get there before scoffing all your goodies)

  Best bakery I've ever been to. I was told by my friends that it would be but I didn't believe them until I tried it myself! Vegetarian pasty with cheese is my best recommendation!

  The best bakery in SA. Hands down. Everything is good. Get a Nutella donut!
